With food being such an important part of Le Mas Candille hotel, a lot of beautiful French cuisine graces the wonderful French menus on offer in our restaurants. Our passion for delicious flavours and service has gained us quite the reputation and it’s something we pride ourselves on. Within our culinary offerings, we also embrace a wonderful English tradition, Afternoon Tea, which visitors are able to book with us.

Although Afternoon Tea is an English custom, we offer a beautiful French Afternoon Tea. Here we combine some of the much-loved features of the famous English cuisine with a few French touches, lovingly made by Chef Basile Arnaud & Chef Olivier Roth!

You don’t need an occasion to enjoy our Afternoon Tea, but it does make for a wonderful celebration. However, many of our hotel guests choose to indulge in Afternoon Tea as a treat during their stay with us! Come and try it for yourself – we’re sure that you’ll love everything on offer.

Our French Afternoon Tea Menu – a French Take on the English Favourites

Enjoy a selection of fine teas from Palais des Thés, sophisticated coffees by Nespresso, and a glass of Louis Roederer Théophile Champagne. All this whilst munching on a delicious platter of tempting savoury sandwiches (smoked salmon and dill, chicken with fresh herb mayonnaise, and cucumber with mint cream cheese sandwiches).

To balance the savoury with the sweet, indulge in our handmade macaroons, as well as tartlets, chocolate bonbons and cookies.

But, of course, Afternoon Tea would not be complete without trying one of our divine scones with Devonshire cream and fruity jam by “Lucien Georgelin”.

Come and sample our wonderful British-French Afternoon Tea in the bar with its cosy fireplace and warm ambience in winter. Or alternatively, you can choose to enjoy it on our beautiful sun-dappled terrace throughout the summertime.

We also have an Afternoon Tea Gift Voucher, for when you want to treat your friends!
