I have a pretty awful track record when it comes to buying birthday presents. I’ve set reminders up everywhere, yet somehow they sneak up on me and I end up with no idea what to get my mother/brother/boyfriend/whoever.
Thankfully, I’ve found a great solution: giving them the gift of spa-time! It has saved me already many times over andI get kudos for being thoughful!
There’s loads of treatments to choose from, so take your pick! Heck, some just encourage you to go along with them!
Here are the best SPA DEALS on the Côte d’Azur from spa specialists, ESPA, at five star Relais & Chateaux hotel, Le Mas Candille.
If you’re even the slightest bit aware of what’s going on in Europe at the moment, you’ll be hearing the word “election” everywhere.
To be honest, I had a brief moment of relief after the US election in November, thinking “phew, no more elections for a while!” WRONG.
The Netherlands just had theirs, and France and Germany are up next. Just thinking about it makes my head buzz. But maybe that’s just me and you don’t follow politics as closely as I do (you’re probably less likely to suffer a heart attack then I am).
Either way, politics is a GREAT reason for a spa day: you just need a moment (or a few hours) without all the political noise. So treat yourself! (Honestly, it’s good for your sanity).
My favorite spa in D.C. has to be TuSuva!
Family time is super important.
My mum and I don’t get to see each other that often, so we when do, it’s always nice to spend some quality time together. What better place to do that than at a spa?
I spent four years studying at Boston University and when mum came to town, it meant a welcome and sorelyneeded visit to Exhale!
You know you want to walk around in big fluffy robes…
(Who doesn’t want to be as cosy and as pampered as this little guy? If you say no, I know you’re lying).
It’s healthy, honestly. A complete detox helps boost your immune system (gotta feel good for summer, right?)
I love the people in my life, and I’m sure you do too. But who doesn’t need alone time?
Just think about it: a few hours away from your:
It’s really important to take care of yourself as well as others, and sometimes it’s nice (and maybe necessary) to prioritise yourself 🙂
It’s almost like a vacation.
Turn off your phone, pick up a book (yes, a real book with pages you can really turn) or a magazine (not an app!) and disappear for an afternoon. You could be doing others a favour too; here’s how.EIGHT –
Just treat yourself.
Do you reallyneed another reason?
Now, which COCOONING package shall I try first? The one with a Champagne Afternoon Tea included has my name written all over it!
