Restaurant Candille - 1 Michelin star

Heading up Restaurant Candille is local 'chef celèbre', Serge Gouloumès, who joined Le Mas Candille from the Miramar Beach Hotel in Theoule sur Mer.
 
Serge always has a smile on his face and loves to share his philosophy of gastronomy. The word 'passion' is the very essence of his personality and he is an extremely convivial host. Spending time with him in the heart of his kitchen is an experience never to be forgotten.
 
This great character from Gascogny has a very rich background. His experiences, in Los Angeles (Ma Maison Hotel in Beverly Hills), in Saint-Martin Island (Le Poisson d'Or Restaurant), in Montreux (Royal Plaza Hotel) and on the seas, have enriched his cuisine with exotic flavours which he now incorporates into his Italian and Provençal based cooking. Each of his dishes is a genuine invitation to travel to gastronomic heaven ending with a dessert of spicy depths.
 
Ranked 15/20 in the Gault et Millau reference book, Serge is also a great leader and a great manager. At Le Mas Candille, he was enticed by the magical site and the prospect of turning the Mas Candille restaurant into one of the best on the French Riviera.


Dining

Le Mas Candille serves a diverse menu of dining experiences - from the gastronomic delights of Restaurant Candille, where guests can eat al fresco beneath the dappled shade of the orangery or within the sumptuous surroundings of the dining room, to the informality of the Restaurant La Pergola and the Bar du Mas with its stunning vistas. Guests may also dine in the privacy of their own room or the peace of the grounds. Special celebrations can be catered for, be they an intimate twosome or a grand party.
